Lauryn McDaniels
Lauryn McDaniels is a recent graduate of Florida State University with a Masters of Science in Sport Management. McDaniels also holds a Bachelors of Science degree in Public Relations from Florida Agricultural & Mechanical University (FAMU). She is a 2024 NBA x HBCU Fellow, where she did a rotational with the WNBA through marketing. She previously worked at Florida State University in Student-Athlete development; working with an array of athletes connecting them with service opportunities, along with leadership development and brand building.
One of her notable internship experiences includes being a basketball intern at Creative Artist Agency (CAA) where she conducted research on potential partnership & sponsorship opportunities for clients, developed travel itineraries for clients and assisted in creating Instagram and TikTok videos for clients showcasing their sponsorships. Through her past experiences she has gained public relations, sales, community relations, marketing, social media, athlete development and event planning skills.
McDaniels is passionate about athlete development and is eager to apply her skills and knowledge in roles that focus on supporting and empowering athletes. With a strong background in sport management and hands-on experience within the industry, Lauryn is committed to contributing to the success and well-being of athletes. Her passion for this profession all began when she served as a basketball manager during high school.
