Lauryn McDaniels
Lauryn McDaniels is a recent graduate of Florida State University with a Masters of Science in Sport Management. McDaniels also holds a Bachelors of Science degree in public relations from Florida Agricultural & Mechanical University (FAMU). She is a 2024 NBA x HBCU Fellow, where she did a rotational with the WNBA through marketing. She previously worked at Florida State University in Student-Athlete development. She worked with an array of athletes connecting them with service opportunities; along with leadership development and brand building.
One of her notable internship experiences includes being a basketball intern at Creative Artist Agency (CAA) where she conducted research on potential partnership & sponsorship opportunities for clients, developed travel itineraries for clients and assisted in creating Instagram and TikTok videos for clients showcasing their sponsorships. Through her past experiences she has gained public relations, sales, marketing, social media and event planning skills.
McDaniels aspires to be a Sports Agent striving to help young men & women reach the professional level in basketball and football. Her passion for this profession all began when she served as a basketball manager during high school, she was also inspired by a presentation on top NBA agent, Rich Paul.
